Whether it is covering the Playoffs from the studio in New York City or kicking it on the red carpet at the Grammy’s, Heidi Androl has the versatility and the contagious smile to make any event a whole lot more fun! She is as hard working as they come, both on camera and off, she is always up for an adventure and is never afraid to get her hands dirty to get the job done and done right.
As the female face of the Los Angeles Kings and the NHL, she has helped to build their online network and increase viewership as a producer and on air host for the team and leagues website and broadcasts since 2007. She brings a light heart and laughter to the sports world with her lifestyle and entertainment approach to writing and broadcasting. It is this unique and fun take that has caught the eye of several networks including; FSN West, ESPN, NHL Network and NHL.com. She has interviewed some of the biggest names and covered some of the best events in sports and entertainment including the Winter Olympics, the Grammys, the American Music Awards, the NHL All Star Games, the Winter Classic and the NHL Awards. In her first year with the team she was deemed one of Los Angeles’ up and coming sportscasters and she continues her quest towards being the best.
Her debut book, In the Men’s Room, captures her experiences from the board room the locker room as a female in extremely male dominated businesses and highlights how to avoid the roadblocks that she diverted on her journey the top.
On the job with Heidi Androl
Prior to joining the Kings, Heidi worked in the Aerospace Industry and rose through the ranks eventually becoming her company’s International Sales Manager in charge of Global Distribution and Military Procurement. It was this that caught the eye of Donald Trump as she was selected to participate on the Apprentice LA appearing in 13 out of 14 episodes.
Born in the small farming community of Unionville, Michigan, Heidi is the oldest of three. At the age of 13, Heidi began a modeling career that granted her exposure in hundreds of national and international print and commercial campaigns.
She currently resides in Southern California and loves to be outdoors and travel when she is not engrossed in sports or entertainment.
