About Horace Chip Mann :


During 30 years of public service, Chip Mann has held a variety of governmental and political positions. His most expansive national role involved building support for education reform when he was appointed by President George H. W. Bush as special assistant and director for special events for Secretary of Education Lamar Alexander. He served as executive director of the Jamestown 400th Commemoration Commission where he organized, most notably, the First Landing program. An avid historian, Mann’s special interest centers on Virginia in the 17th to 19th centuries. A career in diplomacy, politics and planning international, Mann’s expertise and knowledge and experience will impress any audience.
