The youngest of the Baldwin brothers acting clan, Baldwin is one of a few Hollywood actors versatile enough for key roles in everything from Academy Award-winning The Usual Suspects to Bio-Dome. Growing up Baldwin
Stephen is often asked, "What was it like in your house growing up, you know, as one of the Baldwin Brothers?" A few choice words always pop into his head...words like chaos, overdosed testosterone, broken stuff, insanity...Stephen comes from a family of 6 kids. He is the youngest Baldwin, grew up part of a working-class family in a middle-class neighborhood in Massapequa, N.Y. His mom, thank God, was a stay-home type who kept them from killing themselves on an almost daily basis and his dad was a history teacher and football coach. No kidding...Stephen remembers when his sister Beth and his big brother Alec were talking one day about growing older and Beth says something like, "Well, STEPHEN is going to be FORTY!  Alec gets this look and says, "My God, Stephen is going to be FORTY?  I never thought he'd make it to THIRTY."
