Carson
Hudson, Jr
Carson Hudson likes to say he dashed his mother’s dreams by becoming a historian, but his audiences would probably disagree. Having studied history for over 28 years, Hudson takes pride in his ability to make the past relevant to modern, non-academic audiences. He can speak at length on topics ranging from military history to colonial witchcraft, from piracy to the history of the banjo. With several books about Virginia history to name his credit, Hudson is an accomplished writer, historian and educator.

John
Robison
John C. Robison has been interested in period music since he was old enough to beg his great-grandmother to play songs on her piano while telling stories of her father's Civil War exploits. With the folk music boom in the 1960's, he began playing banjo, guitar, fiddle, flageolette, harmonica, mandolin and autoharp. Today, John specializes in period music, instruments and attire. He brings to life the look and sounds of generations before us.
