Books by Neil Wyrick - as Abraham Lincoln :

Boundaries Unlimited
Book Image
This is a book that wrote itself, for all the subjects it touches upon were played out before the eye of my soul. I then sought torecord the mood and meaning of what has happened in this great adventure called life. To capture a small part of truth, a fragment of insight. The contents are the survivors of over 5000 such thoughts recorded and listened to by over 1000 people a day on a call in phone.
I AM...
Book Image
The book "I AM" is designed to often have inanimate objects speak. To give life and thought to certain seasons, spring, winter and fall. To have Easter explain itself and Liberty do the same. To have a grin comment on it's exuberance. To have the Family Circle speak to you who have enjoyed it's warmth. Your Heart, the Church, A Dream, etc. A long list of speakers you never thought would articulate. Over 50% of the writings were published in National Magazines. The rest are original.
Letters to America
Book Image
What if Christopher Columbus had come back to life in America in 1992? How would he react to the sometimes negative, sometimes positive comments he heard? Quite often he would have been unhappy and wanted to clarify "the contaminating" remarks he too often heard. This book does that. Columbus, a.k.a. Neil Wyrick writes letters to those of all ages. Tells stories about "Spanish gentlemen" and how they were such a problem in founding this new world. And how he used an Almanack to get food. It is a fascinating book that is finding it's way into more and more public and private school libraries and home schooler libraries as well. It is a new look at an old story through the eyes of the man who lived it.
Poor Richard's Almanack for the Twentieth Century
Book Image
There is no doubt that if Ben Franklin were somehow able to transport himself to the 20th. century he would write another Poor Richard's Almanack. He wrote 30 some in his own time. Poor Richard' Almanack for the 20th. Century is written exactly as ole Ben would have written it. Each month begins with a humorous poem. Then comments on modern day America are made from Ben's 18th. Century point of view. Comments on Bonds and Money Markets, Weight Watchers and Computers. Neil Wyrick helped Ben. He has been portraying him now for over a quarter of a century. They have become quite close. Neil even enabled Ben to appear on an NBC television special.
Rust On My Soul
Book Image
This novel enters the head and heart of a man who realizes he doesn't know his next door neighbor and really doesn't care. He then relates his life, his thoughts, his experiences with other human beings in this adventure called life.
The Spiritual Abraham Lincoln
Book Image
Abraham Lincoln like you've never seen him! THE SPIRITUAL ABRAHAM LINCOLN, authored by V. Neil Wyrick, is a portrait of Lincoln that vividly demonstrates his spirituality. Not one to wear his faith on his coat sleeves, Lincoln's life speaks dramatically of his faith in God and in the Bible by living a Christian life in his actions and in his speeches.
