About Kevin Grantz as George Washington :
With a background in stage, film, TV and radio performance, it’s no surprise that Kevin Grantz is remarkable at bringing George Washington to life in front of an audience. For more than a decade, Grantz has transformed himself into George Washington “the man, not the myth,” offering a more intimate glimpse of our nation’s first president. His set programs range from the historical discussions of the times leading up to and during the Revolution, to motivating advice on leadership and life after 40. Grantz is also able to customize any of his presentations to fit your organizations specific goals.
In addition to portraying Washington on the television series Founding Fathers, Founding Brothers, The Alan Price Show and Liberty or Death, Grantz has done several live performances with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Virginia Patriots Inc. He also served as the assistant director for the series Liberty or Death and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He has appeared in several films including The Contender and Sally Hemings: an American Scandal.
Kevin also portrays Samuel Mordecai, a friend and confidant to Edgar Allen Poe. And he is a member of the National Speakers Association-Virginia Chapter.
